There are many advantages of a USB drive over CD or DVD. Its first advantage of it is its poetability, you dont need a optical drive to read it. Just plug it into one of your USB port and you can use it as you want.
So, Here is the process to make your flash drive bootable.

So, Here is the process to make your flash drive bootable.
- Download & start Rufus.
- When you start it, you will see many options.
- First, in Device box, select the pendrive you want to boot.
- Don't change anything in Partition scheme and target system type, File system & Cluster size menu.
- In New volume lable, you can write any desired name for your pendrive.
- Tick on the Check device for bad blocks, if you have errors in your usb drive.
- Tick on Quick format box, it will format your pendrive quickly.
- Tick on Create bootable disk using and select ISO image from the drop-down menu, and select the OS image by clicking on CD drive like icon.
- Tick on Create extended label and icon files.
- Now, click on Start button, it will show a warning message that All data on the device will be destroyed.
- Make sure that there is no data on the drive otherwise it will be deleted permanently.
- Click OK the warning message,
- The process of booting pendrive is started now, you can use it when this process is completed.
